Animation Music

Example of Animation Music

“The art of writing for animation is in keeping the music musical, while hitting what needs to be hit without sounding choppy.” (Stone quoted in 1999: 179)

Historically, a strong relationship between music and animation has developed. In the early days of cartoon animation, the on-screen action depended on the music to characterize the cast, to make it appealing to wider audiences and to bring the action “alive”. The musical term “mickey-mousing” is still used to describe the direct relationship between the actions of animated characters and the music used to imitate it. Hand Made Music endeavour to sustain the important relationship between animation and music, and offer our services for your animation…
